The issue here is that we paid $3000 and a $200 "delivery fee" and when the 3 guys showed up to deliver our sofa, loveseat and a china cabinet they refused to move the existing furniture to replace it with the new. This is outrageous and very poor customer service, this is clearly an attempt to cut corners, save money at the expense of customers. This is not the way to do business and will continue to damage your brand name. It is a shame, becuase the sales person was very nice, the shopping expereince was good....but the delivery service policy of NOT moving their customers furniture is an absolute disaster on Haverty's part. I mean really??? It is our furninture they are moving in...what are you expecting, you want me and my wife to move a sleeper sofa and a loveseat recliner...while the 3 delivery guys stand there and watch us kill ourselves to move it, unbelievable!!! I was in the furniture business in my younger years and we ALWAYS moved OUR customers existing products out and replaced it with "OUR" products! I guess this reflects the "new era" of customer service....the market place will decide the fate of Haverty's, with such an extremely poor delivery service as this I am absolutely sure they will continue to loose money and business as well as damage the brand name that most companies care so much about. But hey, maybe it doesn't matter to the Haverty's CEO or it's shareholders.

Very disgruntled "ex-customer"...
